Why not! Destination weddings are such a fun way to experience your wedding celebration surrounded by your closest family members and friends. LUXE at the Wedding Co. Show & Cayman Islands Event
The ladies at LUXE just wanted to say thank you to all the brides that came to visit us last weekend at the beautiful Wedding Co. show that took place at The Carlu. We were thrilled by the turnout and enthusiasm of 2010’s brides and grooms. It’s going to be a bright year ahead.
The show was filled with some incredible vendors from all over the city, and the booth design was spectacular! That weekend actually followed a great event that we attended on behalf of the Cayman Islands. The always lovely Rebecca Grinnals talked about Destination Wedding trends to a room packed with Toronto’s top media and wedding community at Sassafraz. It was a great confirmation that all new brides and grooms looking at having a destination wedding are on par with the trend of weddings in general for 2010. We’re definitely noticing this here at LUXE!

Weddingbells 25th Anniversary Edition
Shelly and Ben’s fabulous “last minute change” wedding from this past May is featured in the 25th anniversary edition of Weddingbells magazine, which hit news stands recently. The photos were all taken by the lovely Catherine Farquharson, and we’re so excited that this amazing couple is featured, considering the nature of how their wedding was put together in only a few days. Oh, that H1N1 put a dent into their plans, but it turned out for the best!

LUXE wins big at the Karisma GI Awards!
We are pleased to announce that LUXE Destination Weddings won seven awards, including the most prestigious and coveted “Hall of Fame” award this past month at the Karisma GI Vacation Consultant awards. Matt was onsite in Mexico at the gala event at the El Dorado Royale to accept these honours on behalf of the team.
LUXE was also recently awarded with Travel Impressions “Best of the Best” award, in which, Amanda and Lexa went down to Puerto Rico to their big event. (more…)
