Our team at LUXE is SO EXCITED to tell you all about the Hotel Xcaret – this stunning property is the ultimate destination for a luxurious trip and magnificent wedding!
The Hotel Xcaret is situated right between the lush jungle and white sands of Mexico’s Riviera Maya, and the design of the hotel takes full advantage of the natural landscape, with cliffs, coves, and rivers running throughout. With stunning views of the ocean, winding rivers, multiple pools, and tropical jungle, no matter what room you are staying in, you will be able to look out over something beautiful. The rooms themselves come with the best of the best amenities, including 300 thread-count Egyptian cotton bed linens, sustainable synthetic feather duvets, traditional Mexican hammocks on the balcony, a rain shower, and in-room jacuzzis.
Along with its overall visual appeal, the Hotel Xcaret also connects deeply with the culture of Mexico, showcasing traditional and handcrafted Mexican art across the property, as well as utilizing locally designed furniture in the suites. The 900 guest rooms are located in different Casa’s, each representing a universal element (Spiral, Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire) which are the tenants of the traditional Mayan culture.
For the environmentally and socially conscious guest, Hotel Xcaret has made a concerted effort to place these values as a top priority. Not only is 59% of the goods used onsite purchased from the local community (reducing the hotel’s carbon footprint, and helping grow the local economy) but they also provide over 100,000 plants for reforestation programs, recycle 70% of the natural waste from their parks, and are recognized as a Socially Responsible Company with Earth Check. They also support Save The Children’s playrooms in the area, along with conservation programs for animals like the native Scarlet Macaw, Sea Turtle, and Stingrays, working with the Animal Welfare and Conservation Programs for Endangered Species.
Guests of the Hotel Xcaret have unlimited access to visit of the most incredible sites in the area for excursions, including the world heritage sites and parks Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xoximilco and Xenses, as well as tours to Xenotes and Xichén, with round-trip transportation provided. Take a ride on a zipline, go swimming in the cenotes or tubing in the river, make friends with the animals on the properties, party during the evening at the late night events and venues, or visit the Mayan ruins and get a taste of the rich and deep history of the Mayan Riviera. These excursions are sure to be an memorable experience – and great for the ‘gram!
While you’re on the property you can take full advantage of the Muluk Spa and Wellness centre, 3 fitness centres, outdoor circuit training, daily eco-friendly activities, 8 pools, and of course complimentary wifi.
For the foodies travelling to Hotel Xcaret, not only is there a mini bar in your room with snacks and drinks replenished daily, a Nespresso machine, and 24-hour room service, but there are 10 restaurants and 8 bars to grab a bite or drink at! The restaurants include Há (featuring Mexican cuisine by Michelin star winner Chef Carlos Gaytán); Fuego Mediterranean cuisine (by celebrity chef Franco Maddalozzo); Xin-Gao Asian cuisine; La Trajinera Mexican seafood; Chibalí family and kid-friendly restaurant; and much more!

There are multiple venues that couples can choose to host their ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions at, and all of them will take your breath away! For couples who want a view of the turquoise water, and feel of sand under their feet, a beachfront wedding is the perfect option. There are also a large number of coves, tucked away across the property that have an incredibly private feel where you can choose to host your wedding ceremony. Then there is the chapel, high atop a mound reached by an elegant staircase, which you can get married inside of, or at the bottom of the steps leading up to it – both venues are gorgeous, and make for a perfect backdrop for your guests, and your photos.
Once it’s time to start partying, you can host cocktail hours at many of the different coves, which overlook the winding river, waterfall, and more! Then for the dinner and reception you can take advantage of many of the onsite restaurants, continue the party on the beach, or stay in the coves – which we cannot recommend enough due to their element of privacy, and how absolutely unique they are.
With so many options to choose from for the wedding ceremony, and all the perks of staying at this property, we cannot wait to see more weddings take place at the Hotel Xcaret!
