When people think of going to Nassau in the Bahamas, they often assume that there is only one place to stay, but there are actually a ton of gorgeous hotels and resorts on the island, such as the newly renovated RIU Paradise Island. This Adults-Only property provides the perfect mix of partying and relaxing, not to mention offering delicious cuisine at its extensive restaurants, and incredible shows and entertainment with live music, dancing, and more.
RIU is currently rebranding and redecorating all of its properties one by one, featuring vibrant colours, open concept spaces, and a blend of modern and art deco décor, setting the mood from the moment you lay your eyes on the resort for a fun and lively vacation.
During your stay you can take a culinary trip around the world at the RIU Paradise Island, by having dinner at the Chutney Indian Restaurant, Tengoku Japanese Restaurant, Krystal Fusion Restaurant, the Steakhouse, and the Main Buffet, not to mention getting a treat at the Cappuccino Station and snacking at the Jerk Chicken Station for a taste of the islands. The RIU Palace Paradise Island also offers a romantic open air dinner option, which is perfect for a couple getting married at the hotel.
The resort has a gorgeous pool that you’ll want to spend the day relaxing in, and when it’s time to hydrate, the Soca Poolside Bar is right on hand to serve you a tasty liquid concoction. There’s also a sauna and whirlpool bath, plus beach volleyball to partake in if swimming and playing in the ocean is more your speed. In the evening there are live shows on stage, and the Pacha Disco for dancing.
The Renova Spa is a perfect place to treat yourself on vacation, and you can book appointments for everything from hair and makeup for a fancy night out, massages to wind down, a facial to treat your skin after a week in the sun, manicures and pedicures for all the photos on the beach you’ll be taking, and more. You can also fill up on endorphins by stopping by the newly renovated gym for a workout on the state of the art equipment, or playing a round on the hotel’s golf course.
Now that the RIU Palace Paradise Island has reopened, the RIU Palace Punta Cana and RIU Tequila are next for renovations so keep an eye out for our features on them in the summer time!
