About Jennifer and John
How they met:  We met through a mutual friend.
What attracted John to Jennifer: Her appearance. He thought Jennifer was beautiful, and her bubbly personality.
What attracted Jennifer to John:  His appearance, his personality, the way he carried himself. The love he has for friends and family.
What was the best advice you received as a couple? “Don’t sweat the small stuff.”
Engagement story: John booked a room at a bed and breakfast in Cape May, NJ. He had booked a couple’s massage for us the morning of April 26^th, 2013.  We first went downstairs for breakfast. During breakfast he had the owner bring over a bag. I thought the bag was a bottle of wine. When I opened the bag it was a glass shaped heart with a message in the bottle. The letter was all the important dates in our lives. Example: the date we date, our first date, etc. The last date on the bottom was April 26^th, 2013 and it said “the day we become engaged” and he got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him. I obviously said yes and was smiling from ear to ear. That started our journey.

Favourite wedding detail: The Ocean in the background during our ceremony.
Most unexpected moment: Jennifer’s brother and sister performed a song for them after the toasts were done. It was amazing!
Most romantic moment: Our vows and our first dance.
Honeymoon: Our honeymoon was in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Why did you choose this location for your wedding? We wanted a destination wedding and DR was perfect for it.

Type of rings: John: white gold with diamonds. Jennifer: White gold band with diamonds.
Jewellery: Jennifer wore a pearl bracelet and earrings.

Favours: We donated money to a cause that is dear to our hearts.

Flowers: Bridesmaids had pink gerber daisies, and Jennifer’s bouquet was a mixture of roses and daisies.

Fun Stuff

What was old? A ring from my deceased Grandmother that I wrapped around my bouquet.

Is there anything else that helps tell the story of the day? It was just absolutely amazing.
