Occupations:  Brittany is an OBGYN and Blake is a Pilot.
How they met:  Mutual friends set us up.
Engagement story:  Blake rented a plane to fly us to VA to visit with my family. Little did I know that he had previously went down to ask for my hand in marriage. During the flight, he asked me to read him the safety checklists. When we landed, my family & MOH were waiting on the runway to pick us up. We quickly got out of the plane and he handed me the post flight check list. I read down the list as he acted like he was checking the plane. The last bullet said “ENGAGEMENT COMPLETE.” He proceeded to get down on one knee and with a beautiful diamond ring asked me to marry him!!

Their advice to others:  Don’t do a first look. The first moment we saw each other at the ceremony was more than worth the wait.  The day goes by fast so make sure to stop and embrace it all.
Most romantic moment:  Our first dance and saying our vows
Did you include any traditions in your wedding?  We tied “God’s Knot” representing Ecclesiastes 4:12 -A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Honeymoon:  We stayed for a second week in Mexico and switched resorts.

Why did you choose this location for your wedding?  We looked at a lot of recommendations from LUXE. We wanted a family friendly resort and when we saw the Sky Deck at Generations we were sold.
