A Picture Says a Thousand Words

What better way to document your special day then through timeless photography? There is no better way to make loved ones who were unable to travel to your destination wedding feel like they were present then through amazing shots that capture the spirit of the day.
To some clients, photography isn’t an important component of their big day. This is totally okay (to each her own). However, if photography is important to you, and you understand and appreciate the importance of a great photographer, then talk to your LUXE wedding planner to help find the perfect photographer for your big day!
Top Three Tips for Destination Wedding Photography
1. Do make sure that you create a list of KEY photos that you would like to have from your big day — family portraits, rings, flowers, etc. This can sound redundant but with the excitement of the day, couples too often forget important portraits that they want taken and end up disappointed with the images that they receive. Your photographer is not a mind reader!
2. Don’t think “the cheaper the better.” Good photographers are worth their weight in gold! Good photography is an art form that is mastered by few. In looking for your perfect photographer, make sure you look for someone who has the same style that you like, and recognize that you get what you pay for. We have the pleasure of working with some of the best in the business — and it’s their job to make you look good on your wedding day!
3. DO book your photographer for more than just your wedding day. Why not take advantage of being in beautiful, tropical surroundings and have your photographer document more of the fun had on the vacation, not just your big day! Why not partake in a trash the dress session, a local village shoot and more.
