One of the highlights of having a destination wedding is that it allows you spend more time with your friends and family. We like to encourage our wedding couples to make the most of this time and focus on the entire trip “experience” rather than just the wedding day. From excursions, to welcome parties and anything in between, getting your guests together throughout the entire trip will not only ensure that you get to spend time with all of them, but it will also be an opportunity for all of them to get to know each other better, and how awesome is that?!
A personal favourite of ours is a casual beach party to kick off the celebration. These photos from an event hosted at NIZUC Resort & Spa are absolute perfection if you ask us (kudos to the team for putting together such a creative event)! We love the way that they tied in Mexican culture into every aspect of the event, from the Mariachi Band to the Taco Buffet. Even the décor includes some traditional Mexican accents like the tiles on the bar and table as well as the patterns on the throw pillows by the fire.
In our opinion this is a wonderfully executed “Welcome Party” at NIZUC Resort & Spa. Casual, inviting and full of Mexican flare!  We know your guests will be blown away by an evening like this to kick off the wedding festivities. This inspiration is full of fun!
