Headpieces and hairbands are definitely taking center stage this year in lieu of veils. And the vintage-inspired birdcage veil, sometimes attached to a hat or small headpiece, is making a comeback as well.
Many destination brides opt out of a veil all together as it can get hot in the tropical sun, and if it’s a windy day, then it will fly around. While the windy veil can make for some interesting and beautiful photos, it can also get in the way, and feel not so “beach friendly.”
I opted out of a veil for my own wedding and opted for an antique jewelled starfish with diamonds – very apropos for a destination wedding.
We at LUXE are inspired by these gorgeous looks. We absolutely love these designers: Twigs and Honey and Jennifer Behr. Check out some of these amazing photos for some inspiration for your own destination wedding.
These are gorgeous! I have one similar to the black flower ones.
