Aruba has long been a favourite destination of ours. Its white sand beaches are among some of the best in the world, not to mention it has the highest number of sunny days of any island in the Caribbean. Last month Riu Palace Aruba reopened its doors following a 25-million dollar renovation. The entire interior of the property has been updated, cumulating in a property that is equal parts modern and luxurious. A theme of vibrant colours and modern lines is carried throughout the lobby, restaurants and guest rooms. All 450 of the refurbished guests rooms are now equipped with some of the latest technology, including a flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The renovations also included the addition of an infinity pool overlooking the beautiful azure Caribbean Sea and a stunning sun terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the stunning views surrounding them.
