Aman Resorts just released their plans for Amanera, their newest resort set to make its debut in late 2015. Nestled on top of a cliff in the Dominican Republic, Amanera spans across 2,000 acres of natural beauty; flanking the magnificent Cordillera Septentrional mountain range and overlooking Playa Grande beach, the resort offers guests alluring vistas of both the verdant jungle and the vast azure ocean.

Like many of the Aman resorts, Amanera has been constructed to blend right into the natural splendour of the region. Each of the Casitas features floor to ceiling windows, outdoor living spaces and flat biodiverse roofs that cultivate gardens, blurring the line of where the jungle ends and the residences begin.

The beach club at Amanera offers something for everyone, from candlelit dining in the sand for those looking for a little romance, to outdoor adventure at the children’s club for the younger guests.

One of the most distinctive features of Amanera is that it will be the first golf-integrated Aman property. The breathtaking 7,085 yard course, which stretches predominantly along the cliffs of the coast line, holds the distinguished title of the course with the most Oceanside holes in the Western hemisphere– 10 in total.
