Casa San Agustin is our favorite hotel for honeymooners that are looking for a mix between a beach vacation and a vacation enriched with history and heritage. While access to Acasi, a stunning white sand private beach is one of the perks of this luxury hotel, guests of Casa San Agustin can also enjoy the exciting Old Town of Cartagena de Indias which has some of the most extensive fortifications in South America. Built between the 14^th and 19^th centuries, Casa San Agustin is an official heritage site and has kept their colonial façade intact while updating the interiors of the hotel.

Casa San Agustin exudes a rustic feel with Spanish style slate roofs, eye catching pink begonias hugging each terrace, multiple rooftops with sprawling views of the old city, and lush greenery scattered around the property. Casa San Agustin is the epitome of mixing old world and new world, with refurbished interiors replicating the cities rich history, wood-beamed ceilings contrasting crisp white walls, and modern interior décor.

All guestrooms and suites are beautiful, but our favourite for honeymooners is the Suite Del Virrey which is the largest and most iconic suite at Casa San Agustin. Suite Del Virrey is a two-story suite with a private rooftop jacuzzi and two terraces with breathtaking views. You can get cozy in the king-sized bed, dine in your own private dining area, laze around and watch TV in the living room, or sunbathe on your private rooftop.

Complimentary services include bicycles to take around town, coffee and tea service in the library, access to the solarium, pools, and bars. Casa San Agustin also has various packages and experiences for guests, including the history package where you can enjoy a guided walking tour in town. Other packages include breakfast in bed, aromatherapy set for added relaxation, sparkling wine and strawberries, and a bouquet of roses and candles in your room. We love the sound of the ACASĪ Experience which takes lovers on a private day trip to the stunning Isla Barú for lunch. This includes access to the private beach surrounded by tranquil blue water and palm trees.
