When Gavin and Garret laid eyes on the Royalton Riviera Cancun, they instantly knew that this was the venue where they would promise to love each other forever. Gavin and Garret are both kind and caring health workers who love their fur babies more than anything. Always up for an adventure, and laughing their way through life, Gavin and Garret knew they wanted to celebrate their love with their closest family and friends in paradise.

With 97 of their nearest and dearest, Gavin and Garret set off for sunny Cancun for a week of fun in the sun at the adults only Hideaway section of the Royalton Riviera Cancun. The property was the perfect choice for their group, combining the convenience of a wider resort complex with the sophistication of an adults only haven.

The ceremony took place on the Sky Terrace, a glamourous terrace overlooking the Caribbean Sea.  With such a stunning venue, Gavin and Garret opted to keep things simple for their ceremony with traditional white chairs and a ceremony table. Both the grooms chose a boutonniere with white ranunculus and greenery, the perfect addition to their rich navy suits. The bridesmaids wore tiffany blue dresses in different styles, while the groomsmen were adorned in grey suits with beautiful succulent boutonnieres.

Following the intimate wedding ceremony, guests were treated to gourmet canapes and refreshing drinks on the beach while the couple enjoyed wedding portraits.

The reception took place on the dreamy beach. The set up featured upgraded rustic wooden tables adorned with centerpieces of lush garlands including white florals and greenery, all of which was lined with candles. The venue was complete with an LED dancefloor and illuminated LOVE letters to set the tone. Guests dined on an exquisite international themed buffet menu before dancing the night away under the stars and a canopy of string lights.

The wedding cake was a simple two-tier affair with white icing, pearl beading and white floral embellishments. The couple adorned their cake with a custom topper featuring their three adorable dogs to include them in their big day!

Gavin and Garret concluded the evening with some surprises for their guests, including rainbow smoke grenades and a sparkler send off – both of which made for amazing photos!
