I just got back from a long weekend at Azul Fives in the Riviera Maya. What can I say… I loved it! Our rooftop penthouse suite was incredible and the huge open space roof deck was the highlight. So huge and got me thinking how perfect it would be to host a private, intimate wedding ceremony or reception.

I particularly like the location of this property, as it’s just a bit north of Playa del Carmen, yet so accessible to everything you might want to enjoy on the Riviera Maya.

We had the opportunity to dine at Senses restaurant to enjoy the 6-course tasting menu, as well as Tsuki, the Asian restaurant. Lunch at Sea Olive was my favourite place for a quick bite.

One of the trip highlights was my visit to the Vassa Spa. I particularly liked the hydrotherapy room with the hot and cold water and steam treatments.
