About Jenelle and Jay
Occupations: Registered Nurses
How they met: Jay and Jenelle first laid eyes on each other in 2004 while attending Nursing School. Since then, Jay developed a long time crush on Jenelle, but he never had the courage to speak to her. Even though they attended the same class, no words were ever exchanged between them. Every day, they would walk by each other in school without knowing they were destined to be together. Years would pass by until they would see each other again. In September 2007, they both happened to be at the same subway station at the same time on their way to Ryerson University. As soon as Jay saw Jenelle again, it was like everyone else in the train disappeared. He rehearsed numerous situations in his mind on how he would finally speak to her. Jay vowed not to let her go again. By the end of the subway ride he finally got the courage to say hello, and it was at this exact moment when their lives together began. Now, they’re inseparable.
What attracted Jay to Jenelle: Her Eyebrows
What attracted Jenelle to Jay: The way he wore his fitted cap
Engagement story: Jenelle created a scrap book of their first year together and Jay completed the scrap book including all the photos up until their engagement. Then on the very last page, in a flower pedaled heart, read the words ”will you marry me?”
