We are completely smitten over this wedding décor from the Nizuc Resort & Spa in Cancun! This reception style is beautifully lavish due to its grandiose floral, but the smaller details are also eye-catching and make this intimate reception unforgettable.
We honestly cannot imagine anything more spectacular than a hanging flower installation made with crisp white Phalaenopsis Orchids. We love the fact that they chose to use black ghost back chairs instead of clear ghost back chairs, which are a more common choice that we have seen spike in popularity. The clean white from the hanging florals are contrasted strikingly with the solid gold charger plates, scattered gold votive candles and personalized gold gifts placed on each napkin.
There is a lovely element of dimension on the main tables by having two different sized centerpieces. We’re obsessed with the floral choices here; the medium sized centerpieces are made with white Roses and Ranunculus, and the extra-small centerpieces are made with 2-3 stems of the same white flowers. All of the flowers are in clear cylinder vases to keep it simple and chic. The white napkins also tie into not only the floral, but the white draping hanging from the wooden gazebos.
We also love that they have chosen to use champagne linens for the tables instead of white linens, which adds a nice pop of color. We’re drawn to the hints of greenery, which can be found sprinkled into the hanging ceiling florals and Dusty Miller in the table centerpieces. This adds a stunning yet subtle color element that we adore.
We know that this is going to be an inspirational look for many weddings to come. If you have not chosen a location for your destination wedding and would like to re-create this look, we definitely suggest booking with the Nizuc Resort & Spa in Cancun! Now get planning!
