Grand Velas Los Cabos isn’t set to open for another couple of months still, but as we get more details we’re finding it especially hard to contain our excitement for this new addition to the Velas Resorts family. Most recently, it’s the details of their spa facilities that have us wondering if their opening date could possibly come soon enough.
Grand Velas Los Cabos will feature a 35,000 square foot, two story spa facility. Included will be a total of 16 treatments, a bridal suite, a hydrotherapy circuit, a salon and a barber shop.
The Spa will offer a carefully curated menu of luxury treatments that draw on authentic treatments from traditional Mexican healers. The spa menu will feature twenty Ceremonies, each of which will include a mixture of luxury treatments. For example, the Ceremony of Mexico features common sensory elements of Mexican culture including:

• Blue Agave Candle Massage
• Blue Agave Exfoliation
• Tequila Cream Massage
• Ancient Stone Massage
• Chocolate Wrap

Included in the treatments is access to the hydrotherapy pools for a personalized water journey guided by a spa valet. The seven step journey includes a eucalyptus-scented steam room, polar pool, aromatherapy sensory shower, sauna, Jacuzzi and multi-sensory pool complete with stone chaises with jets. To top it all off, at the end guests can relax in a heated lounger with a cool scented towel to offer the ultimate relaxing experience.
