Trends We Love – Protea

MainThis gorgeous bloom is gaining tons of popularity as a unique statement flower, as we are absolutely head over heels for them.  Protea come in a wide variety of shapes and colours (which is why they’re named after Proteus – a Greek shape-shifting God), and pair beautifully with succulents, hydrangeas, roses, and cascading greenery.  They can be used in bouquets, centrepieces, as cake toppers, and boutonnieres.

Paired with palm leaves and bright ginger, these blooms bring a definite tropical flare to any bouquet or centrepiece. However, when used with thistles and anemonies, there is a contemporary bohemian vibe.
