Occupations: Tara: Admin/Recruiter, Simon: Regional Distributor
How they met: We actually grew up on the same street, which we didn’t know. We met 10 years ago at a local pub through mutual friends. We went on our first date 3 years later and the rest is history!
What attracted Simon to Tara: How caring, loving, and amazing her personality is
What attracted Tara to Simon: His personality, his big heart, and his eyes
What was the best advice you received as a couple?
Always be honest with one another and the best thing is always communicate with each other
Engagement story:
September 1, 2011: Simon found out he would be moving out of Ontario to open a new office in Edmonton. We went to our favourite restaurant as he told me what his plans were on moving and wanted to make sure that I would go with him. I obviously said I would move wherever he was going. Once he knew that I was good with relocating, following dinner he said he would like to upgrade my promise ring and handed me a box and asked me to be his wife.

Tell us about your experience working with LUXE Destination Weddings: We are so thrilled that we had the help of LUXE to plan our destination wedding. Wedding planning with Cindy made the process very smooth. We would not have been able to plan this destination wedding without them; it took a lot of headache and stress off of us. We never had to get on top of people for deposits etc… LUXE Destination Weddings took care of everything! J
