Here Comes the… Paper?

In a  DIY kind-of world, when we come across an interesting or unique idea that fits well with a destination wedding, we can’t wait to share! Today, our guest blogger, Meghan Jakubowski shares a new Etsy find that is very funky…

For all you creative bride-to-be’s who are looking for something a little different and unique when it comes to your bouquets – why not try making a homemade paper bouquet with flowers made from the pages of old romantic novels and poems? What could be more romantic than walking down the aisle carrying your favourite words, poems or even song lyrics!

While you’re at it, why not make matching bouquets for your bridesmaids, and boutonnieres for your hubby-to-be and his groomsmen. It’s an inexpensive way to make your day that much more personal by using pages that are near and dear to your heart and to the hearts of your loved ones!

And for those of you that love the concept but are a little less on the creative side – you can order paper roses online from the Book Craft shop on Etsy. They also make create confetti and large flowers that can double as ring bearer pillows.

And here are a few samples of other paper bouquets (not from Book Craft) that we sourced and liked…
